Jimmie Johnson now holds a 90-point lead on Mark Martin in the driver standings, as he picked up the checkered flag in Saturday's NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
Matt Kenseth was second at Lowe’s, followed by Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer, Casey Mears, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., and Kurt Busch.
Ryan Newman was 11th, Tony Stewart was 13th, Greg Biffle was 16th, Mark Martin was 17th, Brian Vickers was 34th, Juan Montoya was 35th, Carl Edwards was 39th, and Denny Hamlin was 42nd.
Gordon jumped two spots into third place in the standings at Lowe’s; he’s 135 points back of first-place Johnson. Stewart, Kurt Busch, Montoya, Biffle, Newman, Kahne, Edwards, Hamlin, and Vickers, in order, round out the Chase Top 12.
